“As directed by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Alipurduar University, it is hereby notified for general
information to all the concerned that a spot counseling will be held on 4 th November, 2022 from 11.30 a.m. at the Alipurduar University Campus for admission in the remaining vacant seats of M.A./M.Sc./M.Com Courses (1st Semester).”

Spot counselling

The merit list for the spot counselling in different subjects will be prepared on the basis of 1:5 ratio from among the rest of the applicants. The merit list will be published on 31st October, 2022. “The Candidate himself/ herself must be present at the respective departments on 4th November, 2022 within 11.30 a.m. positively. No one will be allowed to attend the spot counselling on 4th November, 2022 after 11.30 a.m.
Therefore all the Heads/Coordinators are hereby requested to do the needful with their faculty members in connection to the spot counseling of PG 1st Semester admission of their Department,” read the official notification.

Documents to be produced at the time of spot counselling

1. Printed copy of duly filled application form
2. Identity proof
Admission into different Courses will be done strictly on the basis of merit and availability of seats
as per government norms. Publication of names in the merit lists and attending spot counseling do
not assure the right of admission in the applied Course.
