BRAOU Admission 2022: Dr BR Ambedkar Open University was established in 1982, and the location of this university is in Hyderabad. Programs offered by this university are UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate programs for the students. For the 2022 academic session, students get courses like BA, B.Com, B.Ed, B.LibSci, B.Sc, MA, PGDMM, and certificate programs. 

The BRAOU University has closed the 2021-2022 admission process. The university offers UG and PG courses in English and Telugu mediums, and the previous admission process was closed on 09 September 2021. The next admission process will be for UG and PG courses, and the new dates will be posted on this website.

Application fees:- The registration amount for all programs is 500/- which a student needs to pay during the admission procedure.

• Applications are accepted for the offline and online modes, where students get the admission form online. The admission procedure for some programs involves taking an entrance exam, and some programs are based on merit scores.
• Students need to complete their 10th and 12th classes for the UG programs, and the admissions are taken through the merit scores.
• The PG program pursuing students must complete their graduation degree, and merit scored by the students in entrance tests are evaluated for admissions.
• Students for the B.Ed program need to complete their bachelor’s degree and go through the university’s entrance examination.

The candidate can apply for admission in preferred programmes offered by the university at UG, PG, Diploma & certificate level programs. The entrance to the university is merit-based. For admission in bachelor & diploma courses, candidates must have a 10+2 certificate with 50% scores, and for PG Courses, they must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% scores.

BRAOU UG Admission

• BA: Bachelor of Arts is an undergraduate degree offered by the university. Candidates with 10+2 from some known institutes can apply for this course at BRAOU.
• B.Sc: Students who have 10+2 in science can apply for this bachelor’s degree in Science at the BRAOU. It is a UG level course that can be completed in 3 years.
• BBA: The Bachelor of Business Administration is an undergraduate-level professional degree that is available to students who have completed their 12th grade in any stream. Admission will be based on a student’s performance in the last examination.

BRAOU B.Ed Admission

• There are several disciplines within 2 years B.Ed (General) and B.Ed (SE) programmes. In order to enrol in these courses, the university administers an entrance examination. The Bachelor’s degree has to be granted by a university that has received accreditation in the relevant area.
• BRAOU has scheduled an entrance exam for the B.Ed course to be held on 20 March 2022. It will consist of 100 questions that must be answered correctly. This is how it works: You will receive 25 points for English Comprehension and 50 points for Telugu Proficiency and Mental Ability. In the B.Ed. examination, 40 marks will be allocated to English comprehension and 60 marks will be assigned to mental ability and reasoning.

B.R. Ambedkar Open University PG Admission

• MA: Master of Arts is a postgraduate level degree programme that takes a minimum of 2 years. The eligibility to take admission in this programme is to have a valid bachelor’s degree approved by UGC in any discipline. The admission will be based on marks obtained by the students with bachelor’s degrees.
• MBA: Master of business administration is one of the best courses offered by the university. The students who have BBA or any other bachelor’s degree in a relevant field can apply for admission in this course.
• M.Sc: The eligibility for this course is a 50% score on the least basis acquired in passing BSc or equivalent.

Admission to BRAOU University is through a duly filled application form. The application form can be filled out both online and offline. The application forms are uploaded on the BRAOU official site: .

BRAOU Entrance Exam 2022

Dr B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) Entrance Examination is a University level admission test conducted once a year. The University organizes this test in order to test the eligibility of candidates and shortlist them. Every student can apply who has interested to study at BRAOU. Application for this entrance exam will be submitted in online mode, and the link to BRAOU’s main site is http://www.braou.ac.in. 

The paper of BRAOU-EE will be taken from students in pen and paper mode. There will be total marks 100 that are composed in a way that two marks are given for one correct answer forming a total of 50 questions. Its complete paper will contain multiple-choice based questions. The total time duration allowed for students to completely solving the paper is around 150 minutes.
