Sarvodaya School Admission 2023: Delhi Sarvodaya school nursery admission date, form, documents

Admission to Delhi Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Nursery 2023: The admission process for government Sarvodaya schools in Delhi from entry level nursery to first class will begin on March 1 for the academic session 2023-24. The school branch of the Delhi Directorate of Education has issued guidelines in this regard. Children from Delhi will be eligible to apply. The forms for admission to Sarvodaya Vidyalayas will be available in the school, according to the circular issued by the Directorate. Forms are available at the school on all working days until March 15. Forms will be available in morning shift schools from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and evening shift schools from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission and seat information for first-year classes will be available at the school gate.

Admissions help desks will be available in schools. If there is an error in the application, it will be posted on the notice board on March 18. Parents can come during school hours on the 20th and 21st of March to correct any application deficiencies. The drawing will take place on March 22 in the presence of members of the school management committee and parents. On March 24, at 11 a.m. in morning shift schools and 3 p.m. in evening shift schools, the list of students chosen for admission will be displayed. Admission to schools will be available from March 25 to March 31. If any seats remain unfilled, a waiting list will be established from April 1st to 5th.

Document necessary for admission

– Birth certificate, Anganwadi records issued by Municipal Corporation of Delhi and local body.
One passport size photograph of the child.
Any document for proof of residence (Ration card, Guardian voter card, Electricity bill, Water bill, Phone bill, Bank passbook in the name of guardian or child, Aadhaar card of either child or guardian).
Caste certificate, if applicable.
Vaccination certificate of the child has to be given within six months of admission.

Reservation for admission

15% seats for SC candidates.
7.5% seats for ST candidates.
3% seats for physically handicapped.
– 2 percent seats for ward employees of Directorate of Education.

Age for admission

– Must have completed three years as on March 31, 2023 for admission in nursery class.
For admission in KG class, the age of four years has been completed on March 31, 2023.
For admission in class I, must have completed five years of age on March 31, 2023.
