OSSC Admit Card 2023: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced that admit cards for the recruitment of staff nurses, chemists and other technical positions under the Directorate of ESI Scheme are anticipated to be issued today. Candidates who qualify can obtain their admit cards from the ossc.gov.in website.

The preliminary examination is scheduled to be administered statewide on 2 July in a single session using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology. This recruitment effort seeks to cover a total of 189 positions; candidates will be shortlisted based on a preliminary examination, the main written examination, and certificate verification.

The hiring procedure for these positions consists of two steps. Except for the O.T. Assistant and Pharmacist positions, which share the same technical paper, stage 1 consists of a written examination with distinct technical papers for each position. This phase is worth a maximum of 200 points.

In the second stage, certificate verification will be administered, and twice as many candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written examination. It is essential to note that there is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores, and the Commission will not entertain any correspondence in this regard.

For exams with multiple-choice questions, each incorrect response will result in a deduction of one-fourth of the total score. Between January 28 and February 26, 2023, registration for the OSSC recruitment campaign was open.

There are 80 positions available for registered nurses, 40 for chemists, 40 for intermediate laboratory technicians, 9 for X-ray technicians, 8 for operation theatre assistants, 8 for ANM (for women only) and 4 for ECG technicians.
