UPSC CMS 2020 Admit Card Released; Know Exam Day Rules

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the central service recruiting body and the exam conducting authority, has released the amit card available on the official website - www.upsc.gov.in. The commission has set guidelines which the candidates appearing for the exam should follow.

UPSC CMS 2020 Admit Card released update: The UPSC Combined Medical Services [CMS] 2020 will be held on October 22. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the central service recruiting body and the exam conducting authority, has released the amit card on the official website – www.upsc.gov.in. The commission has set guidelines which the candidates appearing for the exam should follow.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commission has also set rules which are precautionary measures to contain the spread of the infection.

The guidelines mention that candidates should wear masks on the exam day. Examinees without mask or face cover will not be allowed entry into the exam venue. The entry to the exam centre itself would be staggered. Students will have to clear a thermal scan for gaining access.

Candidates should bring their own sanitizers to the exam centre in transparent bottles.

Any infringement of instructions shall entail disciplinary action against the concerned candidates including debarment from future Examination / Selection.

UPSC CMS Exam 2020: Items prohibited inside the exam hall

Students appearing for the UPSC CMS Exam 2020 should not bring the following items at the exam hall.

Textbooks

Calculator, pen drive

Electronic pen

Any communication device, goggles, bags, wallet

Any eatable item

Any item which can be used for unfair means

UPSC CMS Exam 2020: Check Schedule below

While the CMSE preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted on October 22, the application process for the same was conducted from July 29 to August 18, 2020. Below is the detailed schedule for the exam.

Paper I – General Medicine and Paediatrics – 9.30 am to 11.30 am

Paper II – Surgery/Gynaecology and Obstetrics/Preventive and Social Medicine – 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
