Although the Exter has not been crash-tested, the fact that it comes standard with six airbags is very impressive. The other engine is a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol unit that produces 99 horsepower and 152 Newton-meters and is available with either a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission.

The exterior of the Nissan Magnite features LED projector headlamps with J-shaped daytime running lights, LED fog lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a rear defogger, split spoiler, and a reverse camera. The Kiger shares the same platform and powertrain options as the Nissan Magnite, meaning it is equipped with the same 1.0-liter naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol engines with the same outputs as the Nissan Magnite. The transmission options remain unchanged as well. The only distinction is that the Renault Kiger has additional driving modes, including Normal, Eco, and Sports.

The Kiger’s exterior design features split headlamps with daytime running lights on top, 16-inch alloy wheels, a split rear diffuser, roof rails, black cladding all over the body, a blacked-out B-pillar, and ORVMs. The interior features a suspended 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a 7-inch multi-skin digital instrument cluster, and a tire pressure monitor.
