The HVAC control unit has been redesigned to include media controls in place of the touch-based controls previously located beneath the 10.25-inch LCD. The temperature dial has been replaced by buttons flanking the control panel, and the temperature display has been shrunk in comparison to the previous model. Additionally, Kia has redesigned the hazard light switch, which is now located between the central air conditioning ducts.
The media controls are now physical knobs flanked by two dials: a volume control and a menu navigator. The media controls reside on a grey panel, while the HVAC controls are located on a black panel, separated by a streamlined chrome strip.
