Mahindra Scorpio N & Classic: This month, the waiting period for the Z4 diesel edition of the Mahindra Scorpio N is up to 24 weeks, whereas it is only up to 20 weeks for the Scorpio Classic.
One of Mahindra & Mahindra’s best-selling models in the home market right now is the Scorpio N. Overall Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic sales increased by 64% YoY in January 2024, compared to 8,715 units in January 2023.
A waiting period of 21 to 23 weeks starts in February 2024 for the Scorpio N Z2 petrol variant, while a waiting period of 22 to 20 weeks applies to the Z4 petrol variant. As of this month, the Z8 petrol manual is 14–16 weeks out and the AT is 7–9 weeks out.

The waiting period is 11 to 13 weeks for the top-spec Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L petrol and 7 to 9 weeks for the automatic model. The base Z2 petrol is requesting a delay of eighteen to twenty weeks this month. Z4 diesel customers will be able to choose between manual and automatic trim options in 22 to 24 weeks.

Z6 diesel manuals need to be ordered 14 to 16 weeks in advance, and automatics 7 to 9 weeks. The waiting period is 11–13 weeks in the Z8L diesel manual and 7–9 weeks in the AT.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic S, an improved version of the previous generation Scorpio, has a 10-to 12-week waiting period. According to S11, it will be 18–20 weeks old in February 2024. At present, the price of the SUV ranges from Rs. 13.59 lakh to Rs. 17.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
The base trim of the more expensive Scorpio N costs Rs. 13.60 lakh, while the top-spec variant (ex-showroom) costs Rs. 24.54 lakh. Customers make more reservations on average each month for these SUVs than for Mahindra’s XUV700 and Thar.
