MINI Aceman 2024: Unveiling the price, release date, interior, and more

The MINI Aceman 2024, an all-electric compact SUV, is set to rival Jeep Avenger and Volvo EX30, replacing the MINI Clubman and sharing a platform with the next-generation MINI Cooper Electric.

MINI Aceman 2024: Later this year, the much-anticipated MINI Aceman, an all-electric compact SUV, will be unveiled to rival the well-liked Jeep Avenger and Volvo EX30. The new MINI Aceman, which effectively replaces the quirky MINI Clubman, is a more compact version of the family-friendly MINI Countryman SUV. It shares a platform with the next-generation MINI Cooper Electric.

Although a significant investment in the UK has led to the new MINI Aceman being made in Oxford starting in 2026, the vehicle will initially be manufactured in China.

The new MINI Aceman is poised to pose a serious threat to rival compact SUVs, including the outstanding Kia Niro EV, the Hyundai Kona Electric, the new Smart #1, and the Vauxhall Mokka Electric. It boasts aggressive appearance and a modern interior. There will also be a new Ford Puma Electric this year.

MINI Aceman 2024 Release Date and Price

A concept version of the new MINI Aceman is presently being shown off. Later in 2024, the production version will be unveiled; not much is anticipated to change.

First deliveries of the new MINI Aceman are anticipated in early 2025, with the vehicle going on sale before the end of 2024.

Regarding pricing, the new MINI Aceman should start at about £35,000. This will enable it to compete with the highly affordable new Volvo EX30.

Interior Design

An early concept of the new MINI Aceman reveals the main characteristics that will be included in the production model when it launches in 2024. As part of the company’s all-new design aesthetic for its SUVs, the new MINI Aceman has a more angular appearance than the rounded lines and round headlamps of the new MINI Cooper Electric.

The new MINI Aceman has unique sculpted headlights up front, along with an integrated LED daytime running light. Compared to the classic MINI design, the angular front wings have more sharper edges, and the lights integrate into them.

The ‘ACEMAN’ branding is shown on the octagonal radiator grille outline of the new MINI Aceman. The design pays homage to classic Mini models, and the concept MINI Aceman’s grille features bright green LED contour lighting; it will be fascinating to see whether this feature makes it into production.

The 2017 MINI Aceman’s sharply edged flares on both the front and back wings continue the more angular design theme. Large 20-inch alloy wheels and flush-fit door handles are features of the concept automobile. Its purposeful attitude is enhanced by its narrow side windows and deep bodysides.

Additional “ACEMAN” branding can be seen on the tailboard itself, and Union Jack-inspired LED tail lights are located at the back.

MINI Aceman 2024 Concept Bar

The new MINI Aceman concept car has a British Racing Green roof and is completed in a lovely metallic Icy Sunglow Green colour. Anticipate that production automobiles will also have access to a version of the roof rack as an option.

The new MINI Aceman’s overall dimensions are 4.05 metres long by 1.99 metres wide and 1.59 metres high. Because of this, it is about the same length overall as a standard tiny hatch, but broader and higher to increase internal room.

The inside of the new MINI Aceman is very simple. It is based on the cabin of the recently unveiled MINI Cooper Electric, with a paired-back layout centred around a large circular touchscreen.

The whole area of the centre interface of the new MINI Aceman is occupied by the first circular OLED display in history. It runs the most recent version of the MINI Operating System, which is updateable over-the-air and configurable.

A row of toggle switches for the drive mode, parking brake, gears, volume, and “MINI Experience Modes” is located beneath the centre display. The touchscreen is used to handle all other functions; the inside of the new MINI Aceman is primarily button-free.

There is no chrome or leather inside the new MINI Aceman. Rather, tactile materials that are “soft and plush” to the touch will be used. Anticipate a wide variety of colour and trim possibilities, as the design exudes a cosy and friendly vibe.

The company promises that the new MINI Aceman’s interior would be spacious enough to fit five adults and have a respectable trunk. The compact design of the EV is responsible for all of this. The “floating” central console, which spans from front to back and has a creative and adaptable design, is a smart feature.

Electric motor performance and range

The new MINI Aceman’s complete technical specifications have not yet been made public. Nonetheless, the same batteries and electric motors will be utilised because it is built on the design of the upcoming MINI Cooper Electric.

With a powerful 184PS electric powertrain, even the most economical model, the new MINI Aceman E, can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in around 7.5 seconds. It will feature a 40kWh battery, which should provide a range of about 190 miles, in order to keep prices down.

High Performance

There will be much more power in the next MINI Aceman SE. Its 218PS can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in less than 7.0 seconds. To take advantage of this, it will have a bigger 54.2kWh battery that should provide a range of about 250 miles.

Additionally, a high-performance MINI Aceman JCW with up to 250PS is planned by the bosses. The company does not intend to sell an All4 all-wheel drive version of the MINI Aceman; it will only be front-wheel drive.

The forthcoming new MINI Cooper Electric and the new MINI Aceman share a same basis. There should be plenty of grip in corners and enjoyable handling with this space-efficient arrangement.

The new MINI Aceman will feature a smoother ride and a longer-travel suspension than the MINI Cooper Electric, which is in line with its more family-oriented appeal. This will indicate that it is more suited to withstand speed bumps and potholes in inner cities.
