Adah Sharma Biography: Adah Sharma (born Adah Sarma on 11 May 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. After completing her education, Sharma made her acting début in the 2008 Hindi horror film 1920, which was a box office success. Her portrayal of a bewitched woman in the film earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.[3][4] After the release of her 2014 romantic comedy film Hasee Toh Phasee, she entered the South Indian film industry, starring in Telugu films such as S/O Satyamurthy (2015) and Kshanam (2016) as the leading heroine.

Early Years and Education
She was born in Mumbai as Adah Sharma.Her father, S. L. Sharma (d. 2014), was an Indian Merchant Navy commander from Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Her mother, Malayali Sheila Sharma, is an Indian classical performer and practitioner of mallakhamba yoga. Her mother is from Kerala’s Palakkad region.
Sharma attended Banda’s Auxilium Convent High School. She decided she wanted to become an actress when she was in the eleventh grade. She desired to withdraw out of school, but her parents insisted that she finish at least one year. After finishing the twelfth grade, she ceased her studies.
Sharma is an athlete. She began performing at the age of three and graduated from the Natraj Gopi Krishna Kathak Dance Academy in Mumbai with a degree in Kathak. In addition to jazz and ballet, she studied salsa for four months in the United States and claimed to be “very good” at belly dancing.

Career
Adah began her acting career with the 1920 horror film by Vikram Bhatt. She portrayed Lisa Singh Rathod in the film and was nominated for Best Actress Debut at the Filmfare Awards for her performance. She subsequently appeared in Phirr, Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke, and Heart Attack.
Adah performed the character of Karishma Solanki in the 2014 Hindi film Hasee Toh Phasee. The film’s performance was unremarkable, but it brought Adah Sharma to prominence. She subsequently appeared in the high-budget Telugu film Son of Satyamurthi alongside Allu Arjun and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. In the same year, she also appeared in the Telugu film Subramanyam for Sale.
In 2016, she starred in the main role of the successful Telugu film Kshanam. The film received numerous commendations and awards at numerous award ceremonies. Soon after Kshanam, she landed a leading role in the sequel to the Bollywood film Commando, starring alongside Vidyut Jammwal.
