Amrinder Gill began his career as a singer with the recording of the Punjabi song “Kala Doria” for the Jalandhar Doordarshan programme. “Apni Jaan Ke” was released as his début album in 2000. Gill rose to prominence with the song “Paigam,” and has since released hit tracks such as “Daru,” “Madhaania,” “Khedan De Din,” “Mel Kara De,” and “Dildarian.” In 2011, he released the album “Judaa,” which became a massive smash and is regarded as one of the most successful Punjabi albums ever. The album garnered him the ‘Best Album’ Brit Asia Music Award in 2012.
