She won several beauty contests in her teenage years, including Miss Sofia in 2002 and Miss Tourism Bulgaria in 2005.
In 2006, with the assistance of her manager, Lyusi Ilarionov, she released ‘Kato Nepoznat’, marking the beginning of her professional music career. She met the famous singer Costi Ionita in 2008. In 2009, they formed the musical group Sahara, which led to Andrea’s rise to musical prominence. The group’s debut single, ‘Tyalee’ (2009), featured new member Lenox Brown. The English version of the song was produced by the Romanian record label Cat Music. In the same year, Sahara collaborated with American musicians Bob Sinclair and Shaggy to record and release their most popular song, “I Wanna,” which has been released in over 50 countries. Sahara recorded ‘Mine’ with American singer Mario Winans before collaborating with Shaggy again in 2011 to record ‘Champagne’ A year later, she signed with Roton Music, the largest music label in Romania. She and Alek Sandar recorded “Peaceful Place” in 2014 to support the LGBTQ+ community.
Throughout her career, Andrea has released four albums and received more than twenty awards, including “European Artist of the Year” at the Kraljevski Muzii Festival in Serbia and “Most Popular Balkan Star” at the Montefolk Awards in Montenegro. Her songs have been released globally and have garnered widespread acclaim.
