Most of his early years were spent in Co-op City. Wheaton High School was where he finished his early schooling. He played basketball for a great deal of time during his adolescence. He rose to popularity as a host during this employment, and the internship quickly turned into a full-time professional route.

He made his television debut in 1996 as a voiceover artist for a cable station. After that, he joined “Rap City” as a co-host and soon rose to the position of only video jockey.
