Chandra Mohan Biography: Chandra Mohan was born in Pamidimukkala, Andhra Pradesh, on May 23, 1945. Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao is his actual name. He is an Indian actor who works in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. He has received two Filmfare Awards and seven Nandi Awards for his outstanding acting. Rangula Ratnam received the state Nandi Award for Best Actor for this film; he has directed over 100 films. In addition, he portrayed Kameshwara Shastri on the television programme Gangato Rambabu.

Early years

Chandra Mohan was born as Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao in the Andhra Pradesh village of Pamidimukkala in the Krishna district on May 23, 1945.[4][5] He attended the Y.V.R.M.Z.P. High School in Meduru. He graduated from the Bapatla agriculture institution.He has an older sibling named Satyavathi and an older brother named Chinnayya. He is the veteran filmmaker K. Viswanath’s cousin.

Early Career

Through the 1966 film Rangula Ratnam, Chandra Mohan was introduced to the Telugu film industry. In 1968, he portrayed Vanisri’s caring sibling in the film Sukha Duhkalu, for which he received accolades.

Chandra Mohan is an Indian actor predominantly associated with the Telugu film industry. He made his début with Rangula Ratnam in 1966. The film earned him the Nandi Award for Best Actor. In 1978, he starred opposite Sridevi and earned the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Telugu. Chandra’s well known movies include Seetamalakshmi (1978), Gol Maal (1979), Ram Robert Rahim (1980), Radha Kalyanam (1981), Rendu Rella Aaru (1985), Chantabbai (1986), Neeku Naaku Pellanta (1988), Gitanjali (1989), Alludugaru (1990), Aditya 369 (1991), Ninne Pelladatha (1996), Chachi 420 (1997), Chandralekha (1998), Manasantha Nuvve (2001), Santosham (2002), Manmadhudu (2002), Okkadu (2003), 7/G Rainbow Colony (2004), Varsham (2004), Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), Do Chandra Mohan starred alongside Sanjeev, Priyanka Jawalkar, Chandra Mohan, and Vibeesh in the 2017 film Kala Varam Aaye. Sampath V. Kumar has written and directed the film.
