During her early career, she dated the director Ryan Andrews, who directed several of her music videos, including ‘Nuclear Seasons’ (2011), ‘You (Ha Ha Ha)’ (2013), and ‘Super Love’ (2015).

From 2014 to 2021, she had an on-and-off relationship with Huck Kwong. Emmie Lichtenberg is a mutual acquaintance of Kwong, and the two previously worked as A&Rs together. She is based in both Los Angeles and London.
