Chief Keef Biography: It’s clear that Chief Keef, the famous American rapper who created “mumble rap” and “drill” subgenres, will always be remembered in hip-hop history. Chief Keef Biography:

Chief Keef’s early life and the start of his career

Growing up in Chicago’s “O-Block,” a tough neighborhood of low-income apartments, Keef was used to facing problems. His 16-year-old mother raised him, and he found comfort in singing from a very young age. He was already writing his own raps by the time he was 5. He used his grandmother’s karaoke machine to record them on cassette tapes. But Keef’s path changed when he quit high school when he was only 15.

That changed when he was 16 and put out mixtapes like “The Glory Road” and “Bang.” Keef put songs on YouTube, including the hit “I Don’t Like,” which started the “Drill” style, even though he was under house arrest because of legal problems. More attention was brought to him by working with Kanye West on the remix.

How much does Chief Keef make?

Chief Keef got a three-album deal with Interscope Records in 2013 that was worth more than $6 million. There were some problems with the deal, though. For example, Interscope could back out if “Finally Rich” didn’t sell 250,000 copies by December 2013. Interscope dropped Keef in 2014 because it didn’t sell enough copies—150,000. Chief Keef’s net worth is now $1 million, which shows how hard it has been for him to make money.

Even though he was facing eviction from renting homes and money problems, he kept putting out albums on his own label, Glo Gang. Chief Keef kept going even though things went wrong. He worked with famous singers and announced that he would be starting the label 43B with RBC Records and BMG Rights Management in 2022.

Real Estate

Keef has been kicked out of rental homes in the past, which is a reflection of his troubled personal life. In 2014, he owed more than $30,000 in rent on a house in Highland Park, Los Angeles, and he was about to be kicked out because he was believed to have been using a gun and had a lot of visitors.

Chief Keef’s road has been tough, with both good and bad times. Keef’s story shows how complicated fame can be. He went from living on the streets of “O-Block” to making a multimillion-dollar deal and having money problems. Even though the music business is always changing, Chief Keef is still a fascinating person who has had a lasting effect on the world of hip-hop. His $1 million net worth shows how hard it is to deal with the problems that come with fame and how determined you need to be to get through them.
