In 2002, he joined the Philadelphia-based indie rock band The Northern Hues; the band disbanded in 2005 due to internal conflicts. Avidan began pursuing storytelling and improvisation at New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in 2008. Brian Wecht was introduced to him in the theater. In 2015, Avidan was cast as eSports instructor Alex Taylor in the YouTube Premium web series “Good Game.”
