After a year, she reprised her role in “Don’t Give Up The Ship.” Merrill garnered notoriety in 1959 after joining the cast of “Operation Petticoat.” Cary Grant, who was at the time married to Dina’s cousin Barbara Hutton, also appeared in the film.
