During this time, he was one of the biggest “Cover Boy” stars for the magazines “Tiger Beat” and “16.” His first successful cover was of Roy Orbison’s “Sweet and Innocent,” which peaked at number seven in the US in 1971.

Hits like “Go Away Little Girl,” “Puppy Love,” which peaked at number three in the United States, and “Hey Girl/I Knew You When,” which peaked at number nine in the United States in 1972, were his next releases. His appearance on the highly regarded television program “Here’s Lucy” cemented his international fame. Osmond made numerous appearances and cameos in other songs, such as “Ambitious” and “Runaway.”

After dropping out of the top 100 Billboard Hot 100 with “Soldier of Love” and “Sacred Emotion,” he returned to the U.S. charts at number two. In the 2000s, Osmond released his Christmas album and made a comeback to the UK Top 10 with “Breeze On By,” which peaked at number eight on the charts. There was a selection of cover songs that were unique to him on his 17th solo album, “The Soundtrack of My Life.”

On this album, Stevie Wonder performed on the harmonica for “My Cherie Amour.” Additionally, he and Marie collaborated on a residency at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. In addition to hosting “The Donny & Marie Show,” which ran from 1976 to 1979, he also hosted “The Mike Douglas Show” in 1974.

They also hosted the syndicated talk show “Donny & Marie” between 1998 and 2000. Between 2002 and 2004, in addition to hosting “Pyramid,” he also had his own radio program.

Personal Life
