Early Life

Morrie Goldman and Jackie Winch welcomed Duff Goldman, formerly Jeffrey Adam Goldman, into the world in Detroit, Michigan. William Goldman is the older brother of Goldman. At the age of four, he began to watch cooking shows hosted by chefs such as Chef Tell.

Career

When he was ten years old, his parents separated. Following his graduation from Sandwich High School, Goldman secured employment, first working at a bagel shop in a mall. He applied for a job at Baltimore’s best restaurant, Charleston, while working here and there. He was hired to make cornbread and biscuits despite having no relevant work experience, and this was a turning point in his life. He worked under the direction of various chefs, including Todd English’s Olives restaurant, after attending the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone.

He launched his own company, Charm City Cakes, in 2002, but at first, he operated out of his home because he lacked the funds to pay for real estate rentals. He hired more workers as the company expanded, and eventually, he was able to work in a proper setting. He created cakes for Tom Clancy, Sir Roger Moore, and Katy Perry, among other celebrities.

To date, Goldman has authored multiple cookbooks, such as “Super Good Baking for Kids” and “Duff Bakes: Think and Bake Like a Pro at Home.” Additionally, he has appeared in some television programs, including “Unfiltered,” “Kids Baking Championship,” “Cake Masters,” “Double Dare,” and “Buddy v. Why we love Him

He is motivated.

Goldman’s interest in cooking dates back to when she was four years old. He was already observing chefs with great interest in what they were doing and how, and to improve his technique, he even enrolled in culinary school. Despite not meeting the requirements, he applied for a job as a cook because of his passion. Being in the kitchen meant that all of the work was labor-intensive.

He is adaptable.

Although Goldman is a very talented pastry chef, he is not just about creating the best cakes. In addition, he plays guitar in a rock band, and we’d like to think that he can still paint graffiti.

He takes chances.

He took his first risk by applying for a job for which he was unqualified. To our surprise and his, he was hired as a cornbread and biscuit maker, which was a significant milestone and a good start. Later, he started his own company without any guarantee that it would develop into what it is today. However, his company went from employing three people to producing cakes for presidential events.
