In addition, he contributes significantly to the production and songwriting of his group’s discography, which has won numerous awards over the years.

On March 1, 2018, J-Hope released his debut solo mixtape, titled “Hope World.” Moreover, he released a noteworthy music video for the song ‘Daydream.’ Another music video for the Airplane song was released on March 6th. The success of this debut album propelled J-Hope to the third spot on the chart for New Artists. In later weeks, he repositioned himself at position 91 on the Artist 100 chart. The artist collaborated with Zara Larsson on “A Brand New Day,” a soundtrack for the mobile game “BTS World,” on June 14, 2019. Following this, he collaborated with American singer Becky G on the song “Chicken Noodle Soup.” This song debuted on September 27, 2019. On March 1, 2021, the 3-year anniversary of his mixtape, he released an extended version of the song “Blue Side” (Outro).
