She is descended from her Italian father, Domenico, and her American mother, Susan. She attended Briarcliff High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Colorado College in 1987. In the 1990s, she began her career as a marketer for CBS/Epic Records. She was a freelance writer in the early 2000s, producing blogs, magazine articles, and marketing materials for various clients.

2003 saw the publication of Sincero’s first book, “Don’t Sleep With Your Drummer,” by M.T.V. Books. Simon & Schuster published her second book titled “The Straight Girl’s Guide to Sleeping With Chicks” in 2005. In 2008, Sincero began facilitating Ladies Who Launch, a series of business development seminars for women entrepreneurs. These workshops launched her vocation as a life and success coach.

Her third book, “You Are A Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life,” was published by Running Press in 2013. In 2015, the book sold over five million copies and topped the “New York Times” bestseller list. It remained on the “NY Times” list of best-sellers for nearly five years. American Audio Publishers Association presented her with an Audie Award in 2014 for her narration of the book. She published three follow-up volumes through Viking Press in 2017, including “You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth,” which was also a “New York Times” bestseller.
