Keats’s demise from tuberculosis, which also claimed his mother, put an end to his aspirations of matrimonially uniting with Ms. Brawne.

Alongside Lord Byron and Percy Bysshe Shelley, Keats is considered a prominent figure of the second generation of Romantic poets, notwithstanding the fact that his works were not published until four years prior to his demise.
