Kendall Francis Schmidt Biography: Kendall Francis Schmidt, of German ancestry, was born in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, on November 2, 1990. Kent Schmidt and Kathy Schmidt are his parents. His siblings, the actors Kenneth Schmidt and Kevin Schmidt, were his parents. His acting career began when he appeared in a Chex television commercial at the age of five. He worked as a double stuntman and appeared in a number of television commercials in the years that followed. Stephen Spielberg cast him as the stunt double for Haley Joel Osment in “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” in 2001. He secured roles on numerous television programs in the same year, including “General Hospital,” “Titus,” “Raising Dad,” “Gilmore Girls,” and “C.S.I: Miami.”

Schmidt ceased his involvement with Heffron Drive in 2009 and began performing with the band Big Time Rush, whose moniker is derived from the Nickelodeon musical comedy series “Big Time Rush,” in which Schmidt also played a leading role. He remained a member of the Big Time Rush ensemble until 2014, despite the fact that the Nickelodeon series was discontinued in 2013. Three albums were published during his tenure with B.T.R: “B.T.R.” (2010), “Elevate” (2011), and “24/Seven” (2013). The following year, via his record label, TOLBooth Records, he released his debut single, “Parallel,” from the album “Happy Mistakes,” following his return to the duo Heffron Drive. Schmidt continues to host reunions with Big Time Rush band members, much to the elation of their supporters.
