Maisy Stella, the second child of Canadian folk duo The Stellas, was born on December 13, 2003. Stella and her sister Lennon were not exposed to contemporary forms of communication during their childhood. Producer R.J. Cutler recalled telling “The Hollywood Reporter” that he and his team were enthralled with Stella’s “Nashville” audition, during which she revealed to him that she had a sister and the two of them used to sing together. Cutler then extended an invitation to Lennon to try out.

Career

Even before they rose to fame, Stella and her sister were cast in the television series “Nashville.” The reason is that they uploaded Robyn’s cover of the song “Call Your Girlfriend” to YouTube. Their harmonies went viral right away, and the video received over 20 million views. Together, the two have made multiple appearances on “Good Morning America,” performed on “The View,” and recorded hit songs for the “Nashville” soundtracks, which have sold two million copies.
