One day while she was working in a studio, she was overheard by a FedEx delivery driver who had an acquaintance in A&R at Epic Records. Personal Life

From 2004 to 2006, Mandy Moore dated erstwhile Scrubs star Zach Braff.

Moore began courting musician Ryan Adams in 2008. They became engaged in February 2009 and were married in Savannah, Georgia on March 10, 2009. Moore filed for divorce from Adams in January 2015, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Moore and Adams later issued a joint statement describing their decision as a “respectful, amicable parting of ways.” The separation was finalised in June of 2016. Moore referred to Ryan Adams as emotionally abusive in 2019, in light of a number of women’s allegations of his abusive behaviour towards them. She discussed her years with Adams in an episode of the podcast WTF with Marc Maron. She reported feeling like she was suffocating. It was untenable, unsustainable, and lonesome. I was so depressed. I felt alone with him.” She elaborated in an interview with the New York Times, stating, “His controlling behaviour prevented me from making new connections in the industry during my entire mid- to late-20s, a pivotal and potentially lucrative period.”

In 2015, Moore began courting Taylor Goldsmith, the frontman for Dawes. They became engaged in September 2017 and were married in Los Angeles on November 18, 2018. The ceremony was a small backyard wedding in Mandy’s backyard that began shortly after sunset. Guests then travelled to The Fig House, a private event venue in the Los Angeles neighbourhood of Highland Park, following the ceremony. In attendance are Minka Kelly, Wilmer Valderrama, Milo Ventimiglia, and Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown, Moore’s co-stars on This Is Us.

Moore is also a devoted philanthropist, tirelessly labouring for causes associated with Africa and its people. Moore is also the spokesperson for Dove’s self-esteem movement and the “Women who should be famous” campaign.

Moore is a Democrat who supported Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Pete Buttigieg in 2020 for the presidency.

This Is Us Payroll

The episode remuneration for Mandy Moore on “This Is Us” is $250,000. This equates to $4.5 million per year for a season of 18 episodes.

Real Property

Early in 2017, Moore and Goldsmith acquired a $2.56 million midcentury modern residence in Pasadena that had been subjected to regrettable 1990s renovations that had robbed it of its original and classic appeal. The 3,351-square-foot home on 1.4 acres has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The backyard features a swimming pool and expansive views of the San Gabriel Valley. Moore underwent a full renovation to restore the midcentury modern details that had been lost during the 1990s renovation.

Moore purchased a Los Feliz property for $1.75 million in 2002. The 4,747-square-foot residence has access to expansive outdoor areas, such as a terraced backyard with numerous gardens and seating. She sold it for $2.95 million shortly after her divorce from Ryan Adama.
