Throughout her career, she has appeared on numerous television programmes. In 1985, she made her film debut in the horror film Ghoulies. In June 1967, while travelling with her mother and brothers, young Hargitay was involved in an unfortunate incident. Their vehicle was involved in an accident that resulted in the death of her mother, while her brothers sustained minor injuries.
