Mark Hamill was born in Oakland, California, on September 25, 1951, to Virginia Suzanne and U.S. Navy Captain William Thomas Hamill. One of seven children, with Terry, Jan, Jeanie, and Kim as sisters and Will and Patrick as brothers.
