Michael Faraday Biography: Michael Faraday was an English physicist who was born on September 22, 1791. He made contributions to electromagnetism and electrochemistry research. Electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism, and electrolysis are some of his most notable discoveries. Through his investigation on the magnetic field, he established the foundation for the electromagnetic field concept in physics. He also established numerous other electromagnetic principles, such as the fact that magnetism could influence light particles. Faraday is regarded as the inventor of electromagnetism and is a central figure in the contemporary scientific community.

Electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism, and electrolysis are some of his most notable discoveries. He also established numerous other electromagnetic principles, such as the fact that magnetism could influence light particles.
Faraday began his career in chemistry in 1813 when Humphry Davy employed him as an assistant. Later, in 1820, he reported the first synthesis of carbon and chlorine compounds, which he published the following year. In 1821, Faraday began the experiments that laid the groundwork for contemporary electromagnetic technology. However, in his eagerness to share his research and discoveries, Faraday neglected to credit the other two scientists who assisted him, which strained his relationship with his mentor. Therefore, he was unable to resume his electromagnetism research for several years. After his mentor’s demise in 1931, Faraday began his legendary series of experiments that led to the discovery of electromagnetic induction. In 1845, he conducted experiments that led to the discovery of the Faraday Effect. This describes the phenomenon that occurs when the plane of polarization of linearly polarized light is rotated by an external magnetic field aligned with the light’s motion.
He passed away in 1867. He is regarded as the inventor of electromagnetism and is a central figure in the modern scientific community.
