Nevaeh Harmon Biography: According to her Miss USA bio, Miss West Virginia Nevaeh Harmon, 21, is pursuing a biochemistry degree at Marshall University in order to attend medical school and become a pediatrician.

Harmon aims to be a role model for other women pursuing STEM careers, particularly Black and Filipino women like herself.

“This is the most unreal sensation I’ve ever experienced in my life. Nevaeh shared on social media, “If you had asked me a year ago if I imagined myself winning, I would have told you you were crazy.”

“I am honored and excited to represent my state and community on the national stage, and I vow I won’t disappoint you. This year is going to be a wild one, but I’m ready for the voyage,” she added.

Nevaeh Harmon Biography: This autumn, the 21-year-old Filipino American (Blasian) pre-med student from the Charleston-Huntington Area will prepare to represent West Virginia in the Miss USA 2023 competition in Reno, Nevada.

Nevaeh Harmon was crowned Miss West Virginia USA 2023 on June 4 at West Virginia Wesleyan College’s Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts in Buckhannon.

Nevaeh Harmon Education

The newly crowned Miss West Virginia USA is a model, a certified pharmacy technician, and a biochemistry major at Marshall University in Huntington.

Lakyn Campbell, age 18, of Parkersburg was crowned Miss West Virginia Teen USA 2023, while Baylee Jarrett and Kourtney Jones were named first and second runners-up, respectively. Elizabeth McDonald, Taylor Miller, and Taylor Holt rounded out the final six candidates.

Krystian Leonard (Miss USA 2022 Top 16 semifinalist) and Emma Kitchen respectively crowned their successors at the conclusion of the event.
