Early Life

Kevin Pouya was born on December 20, 1994, in Florida. He is of Iranian and Cuban descent. Westland Hialeah High School was his high school. Regarding romantic relationships, the rapper is in a relationship with Young Coco, a popular figure on Instagram. Pouya started to take his rapping seriously about 2011.

Next, he uploaded a freestyle he did with Florida rapper Nell titled “Shotz From The Double Glock.” A boyhood friend named Fat Nick assisted the two in starting the Buffet Boys, a band that eventually became their record label. On November 20, 2013, Pouya and Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids collaborated on an EP called “Gookin.” The two hit it up when Rocks moved to Miami.

Career

“Stunna,” his sixth solo mixtape, was released on May 5, 2014. “Elevator Mag,” which also observed that “he does a terrific job of bending their style into his version with a twist of his style tossed in there,” compared the mixtape to the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony group. He dropped his forthcoming mixtape, “South Side Slugs,” on March 25, 2015. Pouya collaborated with $uicideboy$ on the September 1st-released “$outh $ide $uicide” EP. In 2016, he put out his debut studio album, “Underground Underdog,” on the Buffet Boys label. At its peak, the album was ranked 156th on the Billboard 200.

On June 30, 2019, Pouya’s third studio album, “The South Got Something to Say,” was made available. Ghostemane, Juicy J, and City Morgue all made appearances as special guests on the album. Pouya and Fat Nick co-wrote “Drop Out of School 2,” which was published in December 2020. On October 22, 2021, his fourth studio album, “Blood Was Never Thick As Water,” became available. He published the extended play “dirt/hurt/pain/” in February 2022. It would be Pouya’s final release under the Buffet Boys label. Pouya and the other Buffet Boys members said in March 2022 that the label would be permanently disbanding. They later revealed that All But 6 Records will be their new label.
