In 2011, “Rolling Stone” readers selected him as the Best Lead Singer Ever. In 2006, the periodical “Hit Parader” crowned him the greatest metal vocalist of all time. In a poll conducted by “Planet Rock” that year, he was named The Greatest Voice in Rock.
He was married to Maureen Wilson for fifteen years prior to their separation. They had three children: Carmen Jane, Karac Pendragon, and Logan Romero. Karac died of a stomach virus at the age of five in 1977, and Plant contemplated leaving Led Zeppelin. He had a son named Jesse Lee with Shirley, Wilson’s sibling, in 1991.
