Sarfraz Bugti is a prominent politician from the Bugti tribe in Balochistan who serves as Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs. Currently, he serves as a Pakistani senator.

He won the Provincial Assembly elections from Constituency PB-24 as a representative of the Baloch community in Dera Bugti with an overwhelming majority as an independent candidate, receiving 10013 votes, and joined PML (N) after the election. On 14 October 2013, Sarfraz became Minister of Interior for Balochistan. Formerly, he spoke out against the separatist group Baluchistan Republic Army, led by Brahamdagh Khan Bugti, Akbar Bugti’s grandson. The Pakistani government has designated the Baluchistan Republic Army as a terrorist group.
