BSEB Bihar Board Exam 2023: The Bihar Board’s matriculation examination begins on Tuesday. The board has made strict arrangements for a malpractice-free examination. The exam will be held from February 14 to February 22. Throughout the state, 1500 centres have been established. The first shift exam will begin at 9.30 a.m., and candidates will be admitted to the examination centre only until 9 a.m.
At the same time, the Bihar Board has altered the timing of the second shift. The second shift examination will now begin at 2 p.m. Admission will be available in the examination centre only until 1.30 p.m. for this. However, in the students’ best interests, it was changed on the first day. Bihar Board President Anand Kishore stated that admission will be available on the first day of the examination, Tuesday, until 9.20 a.m. in the first shift and until 1.50 p.m. in the second shift. This will only be applicable to the February 14 examination. Admission will be granted until 9.00 a.m. for the first shift and 1.30 p.m. for the second shift in the February 15 examination.
The matriculation examination will be taken by 16,37,414 students from across the state. There are 8,31,213 female students and 8,06,201 male students. The first shift will have 8,25,121 candidates and the second shift will have 8,12,293 candidates. Every day, one subject test will be administered. The Bihar Board has prepared a set of 20 question papers for both shifts. There will be ten question papers for the first shift and ten question papers for the second shift. In each district across the state, four ideal centres have been established. There are 152 model centres in total.
All Center Superintendents will notify examinees of the change in examination time beginning February 15. Board President Anand Kishore stated that all central superintendents have been given instructions in this regard. The last date for admission to the examination centre will be announced on February 15 at all locations. Admission will be available until 9.00 a.m. for the first shift and 1.30 p.m. for the second shift beginning February 15.
The Bihar Board has instructed all examinees to arrive at the examination centre at 8.30 a.m. Candidates may enter the examination centre beginning at 8.30 a.m. All of the seat allotment work was completed in the examination halls. In addition, on February 13th, all of the centres received speculum contributions. The superintendents of the centres will assign observers to classes. Every day and every shift, the observers’ rooms will be changed.

During the matriculation examination, magistrates were assigned to three levels. Students will be tested on two levels as a result of this. The candidate will be examined for the first time at the centre, while the examiners will conduct the second level examination in the examination hall. One videographer will be delegated for every 500 candidates. At the same time, CCTV cameras have been installed in every examination centre room. Aside from that, CCTV cameras on campus will monitor the outside and inside of the examination centre. Aside from that, the Bihar Board has established a WhatsApp group for all officials involved in the examination. The Bihar Board will take this into consideration for every exam update.
The matriculation examination will begin with the subject of Mathematics. On the first day, the Mathematics subject will be examined in both shifts. The exam will have a total of 16,37,414 candidates. The question paper will be read for 15 minutes in both shifts. The first shift exam will take place from 9.30 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. During this time, students must respond to the objective question by 11 a.m. Because the OMR answer sheet will be collected at 11 a.m. The second shift will be from 2 to 5.15 p.m. OMR will be accepted until 3.30 p.m.
All photography, cyber cafes, and printer shops within 200 metres of the examination centre will be closed. Section 144 will be applicable within a 100-metre radius.
According to the board, for visually impaired candidates, the music subject will be tested instead of home science and science instead of math.
