CBSE 10th and 12th Exams 2024: Board issues subject-wise marks distribution

This will help schools run their practical exams more smoothly. The circular from the board came after it saw that schools were making mistakes when they uploaded the private marks.

CBSE 10th and 12th Exams 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education has put out a list of courses from Class 10 to 12 and how many points are given for each. This will help schools run their practical exams more smoothly. The circular from the board came after it saw that schools were making mistakes when they uploaded the private marks.

“It has been observed that schools are committing mistakes while uploading the marks in respect of practical, project, or internal assessment. To aid and assist the schools in smooth conduct of the practical, project, and internal assessments and conduct of theory examinations, a list of subjects for Classes 10 and 12 containing the following details is attached with this circular,” said CBSE.

BBOSE Class 12 December 2022 session schedule out; exams from November 8

What information does the board give? It includes the class, subject code, subject name, maximum marks for the theory exam, maximum marks for the practical exam, maximum marks for the project assessment, maximum marks for the internal assessment, whether an external examiner will be hired to grade, whether a practical answer book will be given, and what kind of answer books will be used for the theory exams. CBSE also said that each subject can get up to 100 points, with those points split between theory, practical, project, and internal review. “All may note for information and action to spare the students any trouble in the future,” the board said.
