Chandigarh Education Department to declare 9th and 11th class result on Arpil 20

In view of the increased lockdown, the Chandigarh Education Department has also taken an important decision regarding the summer holidays.

To prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the nationwide lockdown has been extended till 3rd May. With this announcement, the respective education departments in the country have started announcing the new deadline regarding the new session. The Chandigarh Education Department has made two important announcements just hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of increasing the lockdown.

The first announcement is regarding the release date of the result of class 9th and 11th and the second is regarding the summer holidays.

Department of School Education has government schools, aided schools and recognized private schools in the Union Territory.

When will the result be declared?

It states that the results of the annual examinations taken this year for Class 9th and 11th in Chandigarh will be released on April 20, 2020. The results will be uploaded on the respective school’s website. Apart from this, students will also be informed about the result through text message (SMS) and WhatsApp message (WhatsApp). Parents need not go to school.

Where and How to check Chandigarh 9th and 11th Class Result 2020?

The press release issued by the Education Department of Chandigarh also confirmed that considering the current lockdown period, the result will be delivered to students through digital medium. Formally, the 9th and 11th Class Results will be declared online on the official website of the department i.e. chdeducation.gov.in.

When will summer vacation start?

In view of the increased lockdown, the Chandigarh Education Department has also taken an important decision regarding the summer holidays. Chandigarh government schools’ have been given the summer holidays from 15th April 2020 to 14th May 2020.

The Coronavirus has been declared world pandemic by the World Health Organisation. Due to the fast spread of the virus world has come to a standstill. Almost, every country is observing complete lockdown throughout the world to break the chain of the virus. India is in lockdown since 25th April 2020.
