Chhattisgarh Board to conduct Class 10, 12 practical exams 2024 from January 10 to 31

The duration of the practicals is from January 10 to January 31, 2024.

Chhattisgarh Board practical exams 2024: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has announced the date of the Class 10 and Class 12 practical examinations in 2024. The duration of the practicals is from January 10 to January 31, 2024.

“It has been decided to organize practical examinations and practical work for regular students of high school/higher secondary examination year 2024 conducted by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur in all the recognized institutions between 10th January to 31st January. In this regard, necessary instructions have been issued to all the institution principals,” the board said in an official notification.

There will be no special consideration for students who miss the practical exams, and assessments will not be repeated.

Unlike the proctors chosen by institutions, CGBSE instructed educational institutions to supervise practical examinations.

The Board shall designate external examiners to administer practical examinations; subsequent to their selection, educational institutions shall be required to communicate with the designated external examiner in order to validate the practical exam date. If an external examiner regrettably withdraws from the practical examination, educational institutions will be required to receive written explanations from them detailing the reasons for their inability. In the case of alternative arrangements, schools should initiate the resolution process promptly by contacting the coordination organization of their district.

An internal examiner will be designated at the institution level, and instructors will be appointed for this particular subject. The board stated that for project work, external examiners will be determined solely at the level of the relevant institution and not by the board.

For the practical examination, schools have been instructed to utilize any residual answer sheets from prior years. If there is a shortage of such sheets, they must procure them locally.
