It has been told that detailed instructions will be issued soon by the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education regarding the home evaluation process.
The evaluation of the 10th and 12th class board exams’ copies of Madhya Pradesh Board is starting from April 22. This will be the home valuation process. Officially it was informed on Thursday that due to the lockdown, evaluation of answer sheets of high school and higher secondary examinations had not begun but, now the evaluation work will be starting from 22 April 2020.
The evaluation will be done through the home evaluation process. It has been told that detailed instructions will be issued soon by the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education regarding the home evaluation process.
In such a situation, if the assessment work is completed in 20 days, the results of the 10th and 12th class may be released in May 2020. Due to the extension of lockdown till May 3, a group of teachers of higher secondary classes has written to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan to cancel the remaining board examination papers of students of class 10th and 12th of Madhya Pradesh board and allow internal evaluation conducted for the remaining papers.
Teachers have raised this demand keeping in mind the tension of the students at present due to nationwide lockdown. Teachers claim that there are many students who come to Bhopal and Indore from far-flung districts to appear for the exam and it is not possible for them to get any transportation if the remaining examinations are to be held later.
