UP Board 10th, 12th Exam 2023: High school and intermediate examinations for the UP Board can be held in February. The examinations in March were proposed by the board in the academic calendar released in May 2022. However, in order to begin the next session’s studies on time, preparations are being made to hold the examinations in February. The timetable for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also been released. CBSE 10th and 12th grade examinations are scheduled to begin on February 15th. In such a case, the UP Board is under increased pressure to complete the examination on time.

According to sources, the UP board has submitted the exam schedule for approval to the government. The timetable will be issued once the Chief Minister has given his approval. 3116485 students (1698023 boys and 1418462 girls) are registered in high school for the 2023 examination, while 2750913 students (1531571 boys and 1219342 girls) are registered in intermediate. In this sequence, the date of practical examinations from January 21 to February has been announced on Friday.

Exams will be held in 8752 locations.

For the UP Board’s 10th-12th grade examination, 8752 centres have been established. On Saturday, the UP board finalised the list of centres. Only the proposals received from the districts were approved by the state level committee. The exam was held in 8379 locations last year. However, the number of centres has increased by 373 this time due to a six-lakh increase in the number of candidates.
