UP Board 2020: COVID-19 guidelines for Class 10 and 2 Improvement, Compartment Exam released

As per the guidelines released by the Shiksha Parishad, the exams centres have also been asked to make arrangements for sanitizer bottles at the entry gate. 

UP Board Compartment Exam 2020 update: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board or UP Board has released the guidelines for the class 10 and 12 Compartment and Improvement examinations.

While the examinations are scheduled to be conducted on October 3, 2020, in two shifts, students who have failed in any subject or wish to improve their marks in class 10 and 12 exams will be eligible to appear for the examination.

UP Board compartment Exam: Check Admit Card details

The UP Board will conduct class 10 and 12 compartment exams following the COVID 19 guidelines. While the admit card for the UP Board class 10 and 12 compartment exams are available on the official website of the board, students appearing for the exams are advised to visit the official website of the board – upmsp.edu.in to download the exam hall ticket.
Students appearing for the UP Board class 10 and 12 compartment exams should report to the examination centres at least 45minutes prior to the examination.

UP Board class 10 and 12 compartment exams: Precautions

The exam centre will be sanitized a day before the examination.
Students and invigilators are also required to use fresh masks on the day of the exams. This apart, the District School Inspector has also been directed to provide masks to the students who do not have masks.

As per the guidelines released by the Shiksha Parishad, the exams centres have also been asked to make arrangements for sanitizer bottles at the entry gate. The seating arrangements for the exams and staggered entry and exit in and out of the exam centre

Note: Students with any COVID-19 symptom will not be debarred from the exams but will be allowed to appear from a scheduled classroom arranged for such students.
While the UP Board class 10 and 12 examination results were released on June 27, 2020, the overall pass percentage of 83.31 per cent for the UP Board class 10 exams and 74.63 per cent for the class 12 exams.
