Board examinations of the remaining subjects in West Bengal will be held in June. Apart from this, the students of the 11th class will be promoted to the next class. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced about it. She said that the exams of 12th class, which were postponed due to the lockdown caused by Coronavirus will be held in June 2020.

The students of the 11th class will be passed directly to the next class without the final examination. At the same time, the CM further said that the students of class 11th in various schools in the state of West Bengal will be promoted to the next class without any examinations. CM said that it is necessary to promote the students of the 11th class and promote them to the next class because next year they will appear in the board examination i.e. 12th class. Therefore it is important that their educational loss is protected.

Apart from this, CM has also directed universities and their affiliated colleges to conduct only the final semester examinations.
