BPSC 68th Exam: The Bihar Public Service Commission is being extremely cautious about the 68th preliminary examination, which will be held on February 12th (Sunday). Candidates will be admitted to the centre only if they have their identity card with them. According to Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan, candidates must bring the identity card used when applying. Candidates who do not comply will be denied admission. The Commission has issued guidelines on its website two days before the examination. Candidates who misbehave during the examination or are caught with any type of electronic item will be barred from taking the exam for the next five years, according to the instructions. Candidates who spread exam rumours on social media or through other means will also be suspended for three years.
According to the Commission’s Secretary, four lakh 34 thousand 671 candidates have applied to take the examination. The exam will be held in 805 centres across the state’s 38 districts. In Patna, 40 thousand 478 candidates will appear in 68 centres. Negative marking will be used for the first time in the BPSC 68th preliminary exam. The exam will consist of 150 questions. The Commission states that the One-Fourth Negative Marking Scheme will be used.
No candidate will be permitted to enter the centre after 11 a.m., one hour before the examination begins. The examination centre will be open for business at 9.30 a.m. The exam will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. After the examination, students must stay at the centre for one hour. In the presence of the candidates, the question paper will be sealed. While the videography is being completed, the OMR sheet will be opened in front of them.
BPSC 68th Prelims Exam 2023: Important guidelines released
A home centre has been set up for students with special needs. These candidates will be examined solely on the ground floor. Inter students can be chosen by Divyang candidates to become writers. It will make an application to the Center Superintendent. All Divyang candidates will be given an additional 40 minutes.
