BPSC 68th Preliminary Exam: Last date for application for BPSC 68th exam

The application fee for general candidates is Rs 600, while it is Rs 150 for SC and ST candidates. Payment will only be accepted via debit card, credit card, or net banking.

BPSC 68th Prelims Exam: The deadline for applying to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) 68th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination is today. Previously, the application process was halted for two days. Candidates could no longer apply on December 24 and 25, 2022, and the application deadline was pushed back from December 20 to December 30.

The application fee for general candidates is Rs 600, while it is Rs 150 for SC and ST candidates. Payment will only be accepted via debit card, credit card, or net banking. Up to the 20th of December, 3 lakh applications were received for the BPSC 68th exam. According to BPSC Secretary Amarendra Kumar, one lakh more applications are expected by December 30, 2022. The exam will be for 283 open positions. The method of evaluation has been altered. In this case, the normalisation method will be used.

Important BPSC 68th Exam Dates:

The 68th preliminary examination will take place on February 12, 2023. Its findings will be made public on March 27, 2023. The main exam will take place on May 12, 2023. The main examination results will be released on July 26, 2023. The interview will be released on August 11, 2023, and the final result will be released on October 9, 2023.

Educational requirements for the positions

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply. However, for the position of District Fire Officer, a bachelor’s degree in science or a diploma in fire engineering or mechanical/automobile engineering is required.

There will be time until 10 days after the application deadline to correct any type of error.
