BSSC CGL Mains Exam 2023: Application dates and vacancy details out, check details

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced the third Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Mains examination for the year 2023. Candidates who passed the preliminary exam are now required to submit an application for the primary examination. They must provide the Commission with a prioritised inventory of options.

On June 6, 2023, the online application process for the BSSC CGL Main Exam commenced. The application fee must be paid by June 26, 2023, and the online application must be submitted by June 27, 2023. The application fee is Rs. 675 for General/BC/EBC and Rs. 180 for SC/ST/Divyang/All Female. The online payment options are debit card, credit card, UPI, and net banking.

2248 positions are available for the BSSC Third Graduate Level Examination. The minimum age requirement for candidates is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 37 years as of 1 August 2021. Age exemptions are permitted per the notification.

The 2023 BSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern includes two papers: Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 is a language test (in Hindi) consisting of 100 questions worth a total of 400 marks. To qualify for Paper-2, candidates must earn at least 30 percent on Paper-1. The duration of Paper 2’s three divisions is 2 hours and 15 minutes.

The vacancy details for the BSSC Third Graduate Level Exam are classified according to the various categories and positions available. For instance, there are 1,360 open Secretariat Assistant positions within the General Administration Department. Other positions include Planning Assistant, Vector Disease Control Officer, Grade-C Data Entry Operator, Auditor, and Industry Extension Officer.
