CTET 2022 exam: Check out these guidelines before entering the exam hall

According to the rules, candidates must report at the reporting time specified on their admit cards. The admit cards are available for download from the official website, ctet.nic.in.

CTET 2022 Exam Day guidelines: On December 28 and 29, the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) will hold the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). The exam will be held in 243 different cities. The number of exam cities and centres has been increased to ensure that candidates travel as little as possible and can practise social distancing during the exam. The exam is expected to draw over 2.59 lakh candidates.

According to the rules, candidates must report at the reporting time specified on their admit cards. The admit cards are available for download from the official website, ctet.nic.in.

Admit card:

To ensure verification and authentication, candidates must bring a copy of their CTET admit card 2022 with them. The image on the admit card should be correct. Furthermore, the spelling of the candidate’s name, exam, exam centre, and so on should be correct on the admit card. In the event of an error, candidates should notify authorities.

What must be carried and what is prohibited:

In addition to their admit card, candidates must bring identification. This should be a government-issued ID, such as an Aadhaar card, driver’s licence, voter id, or similar. Candidates must also bring their own water bottle, mask, sanitizer, gloves, and other personal items. No candidate will be permitted to bring a communication device into the exam hall.

Time of reporting:

Candidates taking CTET paper 1 should arrive at the exam centre by 7:30 a.m. to avoid last-minute delays. Candidates for CTET paper II should arrive at the exam centre by 12 p.m.

Passing grade:

Candidates must score 60% on a scale of 150 in order to pass the exam. The cut-off for reserved category candidates is 55%, or approximately 82 points out of 150. Those who pass the CTET will be able to work as teachers in CBSE-affiliated schools. Candidates who pass part-I will be eligible to teach in grades 1–5, while those who pass part-II will be eligible to teach in grades 6–8.
