GATE 2020 Registration closes on September 24 – FAQs and other details

Candidates should note that the last date to register without late fees is September 24, 2019. However, the online application forms/ link are available on the official website gate.iitd.ac.in.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2020 registration is all set to close soon. According to an official notification, the online application portal – GOAPS would be receiving application forms for GATE 2020 till October 1, 2019.

Candidates should note that the last date to register without late fees is September 24, 2019. However, the online application forms/ link are available on the official website gate.iitd.ac.in.

Interested candidates keep in mind that the fee for GATE 2020 is Rs 750 for female, SC, ST and PwD category candidates. Rs. 1500 is for General and OBC category (male) candidates if the application is filled till September 24.

However, a late fee of Rs. 500 across all categories is applicable for applications filled between September 25 and October 1, 2019.

Changes in the examination centre can be done latest by November 15, 2019. The admit cards would be released on January 3, 2020.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9.
