JEE Main Result 2020: Nine candidates score 100 percentile; Check details here

NTA announced the JEE Main 2020 result on January 17, 2020. Candidates who were eagerly waiting for the JEE MAIN 2020 result should visit the official website to check how they have performed in the engineering entrance examination.

NTA has declared the JEE Main 2020 result for Paper 1 only, JEE Main result 2020 for paper 2 i.e. B.Arch and B.Planning aspirants will declare later.

As per media reports, a total of 9 candidates have scored 100 percentile in the JEE Main Examination. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their JEE Main result and download scorecard by visiting on the official website i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in.

This year, NTA has managed to declare JEE Main Result 2020 in record time i.e., in mere 8 days after the completion of the exam on January 9, 2020. The exam was conducted from January 6 to 9, in shifts. More than 11 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam.

How to check JEE Main Result 2020

• Step 1: Go to official exam portal i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Step 2: Click on Link for View / Download Scorecard
• Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page
• Step 4: Enter the application number as per your designated field
• Step 5: Select your Date of Birth using the drop down menu
• Step 6: Enter the Security Pin Provided on the homepage
• Step 7: Click on submit option and JEE Main Scorecard will be displayed
• Step 8: Download scorecard in PDF file format
• Step 9: Take a printout for future use

Nine candidates score 100 percentile

A total of 9 candidates have secured 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2020 Result declared. Among toppers, one candidate is from Delhi, Gujarat and Haryana, while two candidates each are from Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana.

From Delhi, Nishant Agarwal has topped JEE Main exam with 100 percentile score.

According to the reports, JEE Main Result for Paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Planning programmes will be released by NTA later on. However, date or time has not declared by the agency.
