Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2.0: How to Buy National Flag for Rs 25

In this campaign, the Department of Posts is responsible for the sale and distribution of high-quality national flags to the general public at a price of approximately Rs. 25 per flag.

Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2.0: For the upcoming Independence Day on 15 August 2023, the Government of India has introduced version 2.0 of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, in which all citizens are encouraged to fly the national flag in their homes.

In this campaign, the Department of Posts is responsible for the sale and distribution of high-quality national flags to the general public at a price of approximately Rs. 25 per flag.

Department of Posts is requesting that all Government/Private Institutions, Corporations, Local Bodies, etc. communicate to them their requirement of National Flags for their offices & personnel by 7th August, 2023 in order to facilitate timely supply of National Flags by the Department.

How to Buy National Flag for Rs 25 via online and offline mode

The national flags can be purchased through the Department of Post’s website at www.epostoffice.gov.in.

To commemorate the Har Ghar Tirangan campaign, India Post Office has been given the responsibility of selling the National Flag through its 1.60 lakh post offices.

 

  • To purchase a national flag, select the option.
  • Indicate the quantity of Tirangas you desire, then click “Buy Now.”
  • The next step is to input your mobile number and the OTP that was sent to your phone.
  • One must now provide their name and delivery address.
  • Then ‘Proceed to Payment’ option after that
  • Pay Rs. 25 with the payment method of your choice.

According to the release, the National flag measures 20 inches by 30 inches (without a flagpole).

The price of the flag is Rs 25 (GST Exempted).

Additionally, anyone can purchase a national flag by going to any Post Office location.

Orders for National Flags/Tirangas must be submitted to the Department of Posts by 7 August 2023.

A campaign called “Har Ghar Tiranga” is being run by Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to get people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to commemorate India’s 75th anniversary of independence.
