During the hearing, the petitioner told the court that the advertisement for the 6th Combined Civil Examination was issued by JPSC. In this there was a provision to give reservation to sports quota. He also applied and submitted sports certificate along with educational qualification, but JPSC did not give him the benefit of sports quota. On this, advocates of JPSC Sanjay Piparwal and Prince Kumar Singh told the court that the certificate of the applicant is not valid for appointment. The institution from which he obtained the certificate is not affiliated to the Indian Olympic Association. On this, the court has sought clear information from the state government.
