The Gossner College has begun the process of admissions in Geography first semester. The list of selected students has been posted on the notice board of the department.
HOD Prof Pramod Tirkey of Geography Department said, “For admissions, students need to carry the admit card of Class 12, mark sheet, caste certificate, residential certificate, CLC / TC, Aadhar card, character certificate among others. The process of document verification will be done in the control room of the college.”

On the other hand, direct admissions have begun in the Economics department for the undergraduate course.
The cut off has been set at 65 percent for ST/ SC and 70 percent for OBC/ Gen students passed from JAC board. Meanwhile, the same is 70 percent for ST/ SC and 75 percent for OBC/ Gen students passed from CBSE/ ICSE board.
Prof Benison Kachhap, HOD, Department of Economics, said, “It is necessary to bring admission form, declaration form, 10th and 12th admit card, mark sheet, CLC / TC, character certificate, caste certificate, residential certificate for enrollment.”
Document verification and enrollment take place between 12.30 PM and 2.30 PM. Students can enroll in the department till August 20.
